Texas vs. OU Rivalry Tomorrow!

Oklahoma and Texas are my two most hated teams in college football. I love to see both of them lose, hear them choke, and watch the tears fall down there cheeks after a lose. BUT, I can't deny that it is one of the greatest rivalry games in football.

The only time I cheer for Texas is when they play for Oklahoma. That is how bad of a taste Oklahoma leaves in my mouth. I hope that Texas wins tomorrow, because I think Oklahoma is very over-rated. They almost lost to Utah State, and barely survived Air Force. I hope Texas plays better tomorrow than they did last week.

MWC Needs To Go

I have been a defenseless victim of the Mountain Network since its inception on September 1, 2006. It is by far the worst sporting network on cable television. There is no HD, they have ignorant commentators, a spineless chairman, and horrible pay out to its schools. It is no wonder all the schools in the conference are abandoning ship.

When my little ears heard today that TCU may be moving to the Big East, I was ecstatic. It was like sugar on my tongue. With the departure of Utah, BYU, and possibly TCU, I see no reason for the MWC to stay around. Who wants to watch UNLV vs UNM? Not me, and I think 99.9% of the nation would agree with me.

Let me just run a quick fact past you to tickle your brain. Each year, the MWC television deal pays its schools 1.5 million dollars. In 2014, BYU will be playing West Virginia in Washington D.C.;payout: 2.5 million. There are hundreds of examples like this that show how asinine being part of the MWC is.

Lastly, if TCU is leaving the conference, I have a proposition: I would gather BYU, Utah, TCU, BSU, Nevada, Fresno, UNM, UNLV, Kansas, Kansas St, Air Force, and one other team, and create a supper conference. This would most likely ensure an automatic BCS bid, be very competitive in all other sports, and they could make even more money by starting their own network. I know BYU has great HD equipment that they would most likely let the conference use. Let's get rid of Independence, the Pac 12, Wac, MWC, and create a new, improved, dominating conference.

Reggie Bush Highlights

People are saying Reggie was not good enough for the Heisman. Just a kind reminder that admist all the controversy, he is still the best RB in the history of college f-ball.

Take Her With You!

This weekend was awesome. I had a great time with my wife, and I was able to soak in a lot of college football. I learned something this weekend that will help all of us out. Most of the time we think of football as male bonding time, junk food, and a lot of yelling. Not the ideal situation for the females, but they still can have fun too.

This past Saturday, I was getting ready to go to the game. As luck would have it, I had an extra ticket. Most of the time, I would think about which buddy I could take to enjoy the game with. As I pulled out my phone, my eyes beheld the most beautiful sight in the world: my wife. How could I leave her home alone? Isn't the smell of her perfume better than the sweaty fat guy next to me? Obviously the question is rehtorical.

When I was reminded of how fun, beautiful, and amazing my wife was, I asked her if she wanted to go to the game. Usually whenever I ask her she says no; this time she said yes! I was stoked. We put on our game shirts, grabbed the tickets, and were off to the stadium.

To be honest, this was the best game of the year. College football is one of the best feelings in the world, but the wife can enhance that feeling ten fold. While the sun was beating on us, I was cheering as loud as I could, my wife pretended to be interested, but I think she was happier about her tan. All I can say is, boyz, occassionally invite your wife to go with you. Hardly ever will they actually want to go, but when they do, it is a sweet experience.

I Was Wrong

Pretty good day of football today. Although I was wrong with the outcome of about every game. It is too bad that Arkansas could not pull off the upset today, and where in the world did UCLA come from? Is this a dawn of a new era for the Bruins? Or is it just a stroke of early season luck?

I have always been a Boise hater, but I think they have proven enough to be considered legitimate. It is unfortunate how the BCS system works, however. Even if they go undefeated, I don't think that they will get into the BCS Championship. I hope they do, but if there are two other undefeated teams, BSU will get the shaft. Although, I would be watching out for Nevada.

Still love Saturday. The smell of hot dogs, the feeling of sweat dripping off of my face, and the taste and feel of a cold drink going down the throat is priceless. There is not a better time of the year. Hopefully all of you men out there are treating your ladies right, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the season.

Upset Alert

There are some interesting games tomorrow. I hope all you men out there did your homework this week, so your pretty lady allows you to watch a few hours of television tomorrow. Looking at tomorrow's lineup, I think there is a possibility of a few upsets. It would not surprise me to see a few teams drop out of the top ten after tomorrow.

The first possible upset is BSU vs OSU. Boise State looked pretty good against Va Tech, but we quickly found out that Va Tech was over-rated. The Beavers have a talented RB who could have a break out game tomorrow. Boise will have to bring their game tomorrow, or they could see their hopes of a BCS National Championship go out the window.

I smell an upset with Nortre Dame and Standford. ND has had some tough losses this year, but Coach Kelly knows how to prepare for the big games. I am calling the upset on this, and predict that ND will win in the fourth quarter.

Lastly, BYU is a slight underdog vs. Nevada. I just hope with the new QB situation, BYU brings some offense tomorrow and begins to salvage this season.
